The sacred Scriptures of the Word of God were not simply spoken to us 2,000 years ago, but are spoken to us this very day. Scripture study, or exegesis, looks at the history of the text and the context in which it was written, its literary form, and understands how the Fathers of the Church view the Scriptures in an allegorical context. Our bible study provides an opportunity for us to have a deeper appreciation of Scripture by looking at the text from various perspectives.
